Meet our Keynote Speakers

Karen Fassio (she/her) is a former Microsoft leader with 24 years of experience driving global growth strategies and championing inclusive tech communities. She is the co-founder of Women in Cloud, a movement creating economic access for women in tech, and currently serves on the board of the Black Channel Partner Alliance. Today, Karen runs a private consulting practice, advising AI startups on marketing, leadership, and go-to-market strategies.
Brea Starmer (she/her) is the Founder and CEO of Lions & Tigers, a modern workforce solutions firm helping enterprise clients build high-performing blended teams by tapping into the independent talent economy. Under her leadership, the company has created over $34M in economic opportunity for more than 250 consultants—79% of whom are women and 31% People of the Global Majority. Brea is the author of the 2023 playbook “Avoiding the All-Or-Nothing Workplace,” and a recognized thought leader in inclusive leadership and modern work models. Her work has earned honors including Microsoft’s “Supplier of the Year” and PSBJ’s “40 Under 40,” and she continues to champion pay equity, flexible work, and authentic leadership.
