Low Sensory Input Morning
Low sensory input mornings take place during the first hour and a half that the Discovery Center is open on select Saturdays. The space is fully open to the public during these times. The Discovery Center is mostly lit by natural light through a bank of windows, but during these low sensory mornings, the gallery lighting is lowered, videos operate with captions, and the audio is turned off.
The Low Sensory Input Morning features two pop-up conversations at scheduled times where visitors may choose to engage with an educator who will showcase an example of the Foundation’s work. This is an opportunity to engage with objects and ask questions. There will also be two activities, which are self-guided, that are available to visitors. For more information about what to expect in our space please see our Experience Guide.
